Mary discovered art as a result of a tarot card reading her daughter did for her. It said "This is the year for you to discover your artistic talents" to which she laughed because no one could understand her drawings when she played Pictionary. However, resin art had captivated her the year before at an art festival. Many a YouTube video led to self-teaching and making lots of mistakes. From there she continues to fine-tune her nature inspired resin art. She enjoys making cutting boards, wall art, coasters, soap dishes and spoon rests. She looks forward to where else the art drives her. She splits time between Sun Valley, Idaho and La Quinta, CA with a workshop in both homes.
