Green Room Theatre Company is bringing Shakespeare to the Coachella Valley! Join us at the end of the month for a rapid, one-hour Staged Reading of the hilarious, gender-bending comedy As You Like It. This classic script has been carefully condensed and slightly modernized to present the audience with Shakespearean language in a more easily-digestible way. Great for all ages and social classes, this thoughtful mash-up between the world of Shakespeare and the desert valley we all know and love ties topical content seamlessly into the flowery vernacular of the Bard to bring this silly story to life in a way everyone can understand. We will be hosting a 15 minute Q&A with the cast and crew after the performance for all to attend. Join us after the Q&A for the Post-Show Reception where we will all eat, drink, play, and be merry together!
VIP tickets include reserved seating, a complimentary beverage and snack, and a photo opportunity with the cast. Proceeds will be shared between Green Room Theatre Co. and Old Town Artisan Studios, both local non-profits dedicated to keeping art alive in our valley!
