SUMMARY:Introduction to Calligraphy - Adult - Tuesdays
DESCRIPTION:@ 1:30pm – 4:00pm\n$185 for 4 week session. Includes all materials. \nSession 1: October 28\, November 4\, 11\, & 18 \nDiscover the art of beautiful writing in this 4-week introductory calligraphy course. Students will learn to use a dip pen and ink to create elegant thick and thin strokes and to form classic Roman letterforms—the foundation for many alphabets. \n\nWe’ll explore angles\, proportions\, and spacing to build strong lettering skills\, while also looking at the history of calligraphy\, from early writings to today’s contemporary styles. By the end of the course\, students will have a solid foundation and a deeper appreciation for the wide world of calligraphy. \nNo previous experience required.
