DESCRIPTION:Nathan James Band with Special Guest Victor Puertas\nOctober 9\, 2025 @ 6:00 – 7:30 pm\nAn evening of original blues and roots music by the Nathan James Band featuring special guest from Barcelona\, Spain\, Victor Puertas on Hammond Organ\, harmonica\, and vocals. \nNathan James is a well-known and respected roots and blues guitarist\, vocalist\, and songwriter based in the San Jacinto Mountains\, CA. Immersing himself in the blues as a teenager\, he joined blues legend James Harman’s band at just 19 and toured the USA before starting his solo career. Nathan’s original sound blends traditions from piedmont and delta blues to rhythm & blues\, soul\, and country. Alongside his own band and solo work\, he has backed harmonica greats like Kim Wilson and Rod Piazza\, recorded on the Grammy-nominated A Tribute to Little Walter\, and has released 11 albums with both original music as well as covers\, all while touring extensively in the USA\, Canada\, Europe\, and South America. \nVictor Puertas\, one of the most in-demand blues musicians in Europe\, is a multi-instrumentalist on Hammond organ\, piano\, harmonica\, vocals\, and more. Often seen performing with his brother as the Suitcase Brothers—winners of second place at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis—Victor also gives harmonica masterclasses across Europe and is endorsed by Hohner. He and Nathan first met at the Barcelona Blues Fest in 2011\, quickly bonding over their shared love of traditional blues.
