In one of our newest additions to the OTAS catalog, we explore the fundamentals of theatre, storytelling, and improvisation as a way to build skills in collaboration, communication, concentration, and confidence. Students will take part in improvisational games and activities, learning how to be active listeners, to be present and ready to respond, and to be more engaging performers. Students will also be assigned a solo, small-group, or ensemble piece to perform on the last day of class, putting into practice the skills and concepts they have learned. Performances will take place in the classroom. Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend.
Class size is limited to 12. MASKS are required, regardless of vaccination status.
