FeaturedStone Carving: A Two Day Introduction
Old Town Artisan Studios 78046 Calle Barcelona, La Quinta, CA, United States@ 9:00am – 4:00pm $300.00 (includes all materials). This class is on October 24 &25. This workshop is not eligible for discounts or promotional codes. Learn the fundamentals of carving alabaster using both power tools and hand-finishing methods. This intensive workshop guides you through the complete process—shaping, refining, and finishing—so you leave with a completed stone sculpture. Tools are provided; please bring lunch. This workshop will be held outdoors, and participants should expect a very hands-on, dusty process from sanding and shaping the stone—please dress accordingly. Day 1: Friday October 24th 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Day 2: Saturday October 25th 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Class size is limited to 6.
