  • Acrylic Pour Workshop – Adult

    @ 10:00am – 12:00pm $85.00 (includes all materials). This class is on December 9. Acrylic Pour is a fluid painting technique using acrylic paint to create marvelous works of art! This technique is very approachable for beginners, and yet allows one the opportunity to get as creative and complex as you desire. Students will be working on wood canvases with a gloss finish. Each student will make 2 acrylic pours (one 8x8 and one 12x12). Due to drying time and spray varnishing each piece, student work will be available for pickup on the Saturday after the workshop.   • Choose Your Glass Blowing Project – Heart OR Ornament Workshop – Adult – Wednesday, December 10th

    December 10th $150.00 (includes all materials) Create your very own stunning heart paperweight OR glass blown ornament! This workshop requires no previous experience. Students will pick out colors and create their own glass heart or ornament using traditional techniques under the instruction of Jason and Nicole McQuaid who have over 35 years of experience in glassblowing. All items will be available for pick-up 48 hours after the workshop at the Old Town Artisan Studios’ reception desk. Take your felting to the next level in this immersive workshop with Studio 907’s Beth Marx. Learn to create seamless garments using a resist, make your own patterns, and simplify shrinkage calculations with Beth’s “Easy Peasy Shrinkage Sheet.” Using one of your own garments as a guide, you’ll design and size a resist without complicated math or measurements. Explore Beth’s collage-style felting with handmade prefelts and layered silks, while mastering seamless edges, professional finishes, shaping, and closures. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created your own unique, wearable felted vest—and enjoy styling it with Beth in a fun photo session.     Stone Carving: A Two Day Introduction

    @ 9:00am – 4:00pm $300.00 (includes all materials). This class is on October 24 &25. This workshop is not eligible for discounts or promotional codes. Learn the fundamentals of carving alabaster using both power tools and hand-finishing methods. This intensive workshop guides you through the complete process—shaping, refining, and finishing—so you leave with a completed stone sculpture. Tools are provided; please bring lunch. This workshop will be held outdoors, and participants should expect a very hands-on, dusty process from sanding and shaping the stone—please dress accordingly.
