Old Town Artisan Studios provides art experiences for all people despite age, ability, or financial condition. We believe art is healing and has an everlasting positive impact on each of us. If you are interested in donating your time and talents, please fill out the attached general form. We will do our best to match your experience and expertise to our current needs. We are also looking for volunteers that can commit to a more long-term, involved role at OTAS. MENTAL HEALTH WELLNESS FAIR
Location: Summit High School
5/3 from 10:00am – 1:30pm
The fair will include various resources and wellness activities to middle and high school students, including an art activity booth hosted by Old Town Artisan Studios! No art experience required. Sign up here!

POTTERY PAINTING HOSTS
Location: Paint Your Own Pottery Studio at OTAS

Paint Your Own Pottery (or “PYOP”) is a very exciting service that OTAS offers here on our campus! We are expecting two large groups of individuals that are on the Autism spectrum (along with their caregivers) and are seeking a few trained PYOP hostesses to help guide them through the art experience.

Old Town Artisan Studios is proud to partner with local group, Desert Theatre Ensemble, for the play reading of “Love, Loss, and What I Wore”. To ensure that the event is a success, OTAS is seeking to fill a variety of volunteer positions that include set up, snack bar, break down, etc. Sign up here!
ART GALLERY OPENING RECEPTION
Location: The Leland Gallery at OTAS
5/16 from 4:30pm – 7:30pm
OTAS is seeking assistance with the upcoming Art Odyssey middle school art show’s opening reception to support the gallery coordinator. Sign up here!

MOBILE ARTS PROGRAM OUTREACH
Location: Meet at OTAS and ride along with OTAS staff to various schools and senior centers
Various dates and times available
When a group does not have the means to come to our studio, we bring art classes to them! We work with many organizations across the valley, including YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, Hope Through Housing, and more! Our instructor’s need assistance with loading and unloading our mobile outreach van, supporting the students with their art lesson, as well as setting up/cleaning up. Classes can range anywhere from 10-40 students at once, so volunteer help for our instructors is crucial. Outreach classes are fun and extremely rewarding!
