Ellen Kimmel, a ceramicist and abstract painter, has been a student at Old Town Artisan Studio since 2018. She is a member of the Artist Council Art Center at the Galen. She won a “Keep Art Alive” grant from California Desert Art Council/La Quinta Art Foundation for her ceramic Tree of Life: “Hope for Renewal” in April 2020.
