Wet felting is the process by which wool, warm water, soap and agitation are used to create a non-woven felted fabric. Join us as we explore the possibilities of wet felting techniques and create a one of a kind vessel to take home. Please keep in mind that felting can be repetitive and labor intensive. Please bring a snack if you wish! All skill levels are welcome! Class size is limited to 8.   • Acrylic Pour Workshop – Adult

    @ 10:00am – 12:00pm $85.00 (includes all materials). This class is on December 9. Acrylic Pour is a fluid painting technique using acrylic paint to create marvelous works of art! This technique is very approachable for beginners, and yet allows one the opportunity to get as creative and complex as you desire. Students will be working on wood canvases with a gloss finish. Each student will make 2 acrylic pours (one 8x8 and one 12x12). Due to drying time and spray varnishing each piece, student work will be available for pickup on the Saturday after the workshop.     December 10th $150.00 (includes all materials) Create your very own stunning heart paperweight OR glass blown ornament! This workshop requires no previous experience. Students will pick out colors and create their own glass heart or ornament using traditional techniques under the instruction of Jason and Nicole McQuaid who have over 35 years of experience in glassblowing. All items will be available for pick-up 48 hours after the workshop at the Old Town Artisan Studios’ reception desk.     Bob Hamilton February 12, 2026 @ 6:00 - 7:30 pm Bob Hamilton is a freelance musician and teacher living in Palm Springs, California. He is a master of the 6 string guitar and 5 string banjo, a patient and engaging teacher, and an adept improviser, writer, and arranger. Bob has played thousands of songs on stage with hundreds of bands. He has international touring experience, ranging from rock/pop/soul bands in nightclubs to classical and jazz sets of solo guitar at upscale restaurants and banjo breakdowns on major bluegrass festival stages. Few guitarists come with the skill set that includes college training in jazz, classical, and Afro-Latin music, national competitions for bluegrass banjo, touring with the most popular cover band in the world, a decade plus in rock/funk/soul bands, and an ability to learn, write and improvise everyday. Currently Bob performs and records with dozens of bands a year in a variety of genres. In 2017 alone he performed at Red Rocks Amphitheater, New Orleans Jazzfest, the Greek Theater in LA, with the Coachella Valley Symphony, as well as regular Southern California jazz clubs, festivals, and clubs.
