Jeff Lantz January 8, 2026 @ 6:00 - 7:30 pm Jeff Lants "Songs and Stories from a Life in Music" Pianist, composer, performing artist, collaborator, and coach Jeff Lantz found his calling at age eight. Since then, Jeff has lived and worked as a performing artist, playing music for a living, from classical to jazz to rock to blues to Broadway, with household-name artists and local pros, in front of eighty thousand fans, in hole-in-the-wall clubs, and everywhere in between. Today, Jeff is still in love with music, continuing to record, teach, and perform special events. Jeff’s latest album is titled It’s Okay to Be Happy. Take your felting to the next level in this immersive workshop with Studio 907’s Beth Marx. Learn to create seamless garments using a resist, make your own patterns, and simplify shrinkage calculations with Beth’s “Easy Peasy Shrinkage Sheet.” Using one of your own garments as a guide, you’ll design and size a resist without complicated math or measurements. Explore Beth’s collage-style felting with handmade prefelts and layered silks, while mastering seamless edges, professional finishes, shaping, and closures. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created your own unique, wearable felted vest—and enjoy styling it with Beth in a fun photo session. Bob Hamilton February 12, 2026 @ 6:00 - 7:30 pm Bob Hamilton is a freelance musician and teacher living in Palm Springs, California. He is a master of the 6 string guitar and 5 string banjo, a patient and engaging teacher, and an adept improviser, writer, and arranger. Bob has played thousands of songs on stage with hundreds of bands. He has international touring experience, ranging from rock/pop/soul bands in nightclubs to classical and jazz sets of solo guitar at upscale restaurants and banjo breakdowns on major bluegrass festival stages. Few guitarists come with the skill set that includes college training in jazz, classical, and Afro-Latin music, national competitions for bluegrass banjo, touring with the most popular cover band in the world, a decade plus in rock/funk/soul bands, and an ability to learn, write and improvise everyday. Currently Bob performs and records with dozens of bands a year in a variety of genres. In 2017 alone he performed at Red Rocks Amphitheater, New Orleans Jazzfest, the Greek Theater in LA, with the Coachella Valley Symphony, as well as regular Southern California jazz clubs, festivals, and clubs. Featuring songs by artists like The Eagles, Linda Rondstadt, Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, CSNY and more. The Laurel Canyon Band is a familiar and popular act at festivals and private functions across Southern California, playing crowd favorite songs built on great musicianship, soaring harmonies and classic riffs.
