In this workshop we will be making abstract designs exploring color choices, composition, variety of materials, and direction of flow. We will be making a 10” X 10” mosaic using stained glass, ceramic tile, metal, broken dishes and stone. Instruction will also include proper mixing of adhesives, grouts, and cutting techniques. Darcy has over 30 years of mosaic experience and will be sharing tips and tricks that she has learned along the way. We will concentrate on line work and fail safe designs. This workshop is for all skill levels from beginner to advanced mosaic artists. All materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring in your own personal items to use such as sea glass, smalti, millefiori, small metal items, glass, costume jewelry or broken dishes.
