Coiling is one of the oldest methods of constructing with clay, learn how ancient civilizations utilized this technique to their advantage! This class aims to provide an understanding of how to work and use coils effectively in different ways. From building functional objects to sculptural structures. Students can expect to complete 3 different projects during the class.
Completion of Handbuilding I is recommended. This class is for adults.
Class size is limited to 10. Instructor: Angel Prudencio
Classes include materials, firing costs, and 2 hrs. weekly studio time designed to help students complete work between classes. (Additional studio time can be purchased for the reduced student rate of $12/hr.)
