This class is designed for experienced ceramic artists who are ready to explore and refine their practice in a more independent, exploratory environment. While there are no set projects, the instructor will offer ongoing demos focused on advanced techniques, experimental methods, and material exploration to help push your creative boundaries. Students are encouraged to pursue personal directions and challenge their existing skill sets, while also learning from the work and ideas of others in the class. Full access to studio tools, including pottery wheels, slab rollers, and handbuilding equipment, is provided.

Classes include materials, firing costs, and 2 hrs. weekly studio time designed to help students complete work between classes. (Additional studio time can be purchased for the reduced student rate of $12/hr.)
