The pottery wheel is an exciting and challenging tool in the world of ceramics! Explore the art of throwing clay on the pottery wheel as you learn to craft one-of-a-kind pieces from start to finish. Students will learn the basics and beyond, including clay preparation, proper body positioning, centering, pulling walls, shaping, trimming, and glazing. No previous experience required.

Classes include materials, firing costs, and 2 hrs. weekly studio time designed to help students complete work between classes. (Additional studio time can be purchased for the reduced student rate of $12/hr.)
