Join Colby Cramer for a journey into American Raku- the fast fired, flame-kissed pottery born from 1960s California experimentation. This class will cover multiple Raku techniques, including horse hair firing, post fire reduction, glaze chemistry and other experimental techniques. Students must have experience with clay and using the equipment in the studio before taking this class. Intermediate/Advanced level class. Open to both wheel and hand builders.

Classes include materials, firing costs, and 2 hrs. weekly studio time designed to help students complete work between classes. (Additional studio time can be purchased for the reduced student rate of $12/hr.)
