This technique is very approachable for beginners, and yet allows one the opportunity to get as creative and complex as you desire. Students will be working on wood canvases. Each student will make 2 acrylic pours, one small wood canvas for practice and a larger wood canvas to perfect your technique. Due to drying time, student work will be available for pickup on the Saturday following the workshop. Experience various sensory related toys and activities! Young artists can enjoy the process, while making their own creations to take home! Activities are designed for children, age birth to 5 years. If bringing older siblings to class please be advised that the activities are designated for the littles ones only and participation will only be for the children that are 5 years and under. Workshop Facilitator: Helen Shafton, a retired elementary art teacher, specializing in providing authentic art experiences for children with all abilities. Helen has also worked with students with cognitive and motor disabilities for more than two decades. Parent must accompany their child.
