  • Fused Glass II: Beyond the Basics – Adult – Mondays

  • Pottery Wheel I: The Fundamentals – Adult – Monday PM

Explore the art of throwing clay on the pottery wheel as you learn to craft one-of-a-kind pieces from start to finish. Students will learn the basics and beyond, including clay preparation, proper body positioning, centering, pulling walls, shaping, trimming, and glazing. No previous experience required. Session 1: October 28, November 4, 11, & 18 Discover the art of beautiful writing in this 4-week introductory calligraphy course. Students will learn to use a dip pen and ink to create elegant thick and thin strokes and to form classic Roman letterforms—the foundation for many alphabets. We’ll explore angles, proportions, and spacing to build strong lettering skills, while also looking at the history of calligraphy, from early writings to today’s contemporary styles. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation and a deeper appreciation for the wide world of calligraphy. No previous experience required. This class is for adults.   • Photography: Beyond the Snapshot

  • 3-Day Sari Basket Workshop – Adult

  • Hand Blown Ornament Workshop – Adult – Thursday, November 20

    November 20th $100.00 (includes all materials) Classic first project for those curious about glassblowing techniques. This workshop requires no previous experience. Students will pick out colors and blow their own glass ornament using traditional glassblowing techniques under the instruction of Jason and Nicole McQuaid who have over 35 years of experience.   • Sensory Art Workshop – 5 years and under – Saturday

Experience various sensory related toys and activities! Young artists can enjoy the process, while making their own creations to take home! Activities are designed for children aged birth to 5 years. If bringing older siblings to class, please note that activities are designated for the little ones only and participation is limited to children 5 and under.   • Nuno Felted Vessel Workshop – Adult

Wet felting is the process by which wool, warm water, soap and agitation are used to create a non-woven felted fabric.   • Acrylic Pour Workshop – Adult

    @ 10:00am – 12:00pm $85.00 (includes all materials). This class is on December 9. Acrylic Pour is a fluid painting technique using acrylic paint to create marvelous works of art! This technique is very approachable for beginners, and yet allows one the opportunity to get as creative and complex as you desire. Students will be working on wood canvases with a gloss finish. Each student will make 2 acrylic pours (one 8x8 and one 12x12). Due to drying time and spray varnishing each piece, student work will be available for pickup on the Saturday after the workshop.
