Nathan James is a well-known and respected roots and blues guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter based in the San Jacinto Mountains, CA. Immersing himself in the blues as a teenager, he joined blues legend James Harman’s band at just 19 and toured the USA before starting his solo career. Nathan’s original sound blends traditions from piedmont and delta blues to rhythm & blues, soul, and country. Alongside his own band and solo work, he has backed harmonica greats like Kim Wilson and Rod Piazza, recorded on the Grammy-nominated A Tribute to Little Walter, and has released 11 albums with both original music as well as covers, all while touring extensively in the USA, Canada, Europe, and South America.
