Experience various sensory related toys and activities! Young artists can enjoy the process, while making their own creations to take home! Activities are designed for children, age birth to 5 years. If bringing older siblings to class please be advised that the activities are designated for the littles ones only and participation will only be for the children that are 5 years and under. @ 10:00am – 2:00pm $145.00 (includes supplies). This class is on March 18th. This class combines using natural botanicals and a mordant to create beautiful, wearable works of art inspired by nature! Ecoprinting is a process where plant materials are placed on specially treated fabric and then steamed to release the tanin in the plants, leaving realistic prints of the plants on the fabric. You will get hands-on classroom instruction in how to make these uniquely dyed scarves perfect for wearing or gifting. During the steaming process, you will make a supplemental mini art project!  Please bring a snack if you wish! Discover the art of fused glass in this engaging workshop, perfect for both beginners and experienced glass enthusiasts! Enjoy creating unique glass tiles using glass powder and a screen-printing process, all while having fun in a supportive group setting. The workshop fee includes 2 hours of hands-on instruction, all necessary materials, and supplies to craft four artistic glass tiles (tiles are approx. 4" square). Completed projects will be available for pickup at the OTAS front desk on the Monday following the workshop.
