Students will have the opportunity to expand their thinking and drive their own creative ideas for class projects. Completion of Ceramics I is not required, but is highly recommended. Rather than focusing on realism, we’ll explore stylized and expressive forms — encouraging creative interpretation and personal flair. Whether you're brand new to sculpture or just curious to try something different, this class will guide you through proportion, structure, and features in a supportive and engaging environment. Each student will complete one head sculpture over the course of the class. No prior sculpting experience needed! This class is for adults. Firing & Finishing Information: Sculptures created in this class will not be ready to glaze by the final day of class. Clay must dry slowly and thoroughly before it can be safely fired in the kiln.
