Since then, Jeff has lived and worked as a performing artist, playing music for a living, from classical to jazz to rock to blues to Broadway, with household-name artists and local pros, in front of eighty thousand fans, in hole-in-the-wall clubs, and everywhere in between. Today, Jeff is still in love with music, continuing to record, teach, and perform special events. Jeff’s latest album is titled It’s Okay to Be Happy. Take your felting to the next level in this immersive workshop with Studio 907’s Beth Marx. Learn to create seamless garments using a resist, make your own patterns, and simplify shrinkage calculations with Beth’s “Easy Peasy Shrinkage Sheet.” Using one of your own garments as a guide, you’ll design and size a resist without complicated math or measurements. Explore Beth’s collage-style felting with handmade prefelts and layered silks, while mastering seamless edges, professional finishes, shaping, and closures. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created your own unique, wearable felted vest—and enjoy styling it with Beth in a fun photo session.
