Jeff Albeck, mixed media and La Quinta resident. I am greatly inspired by the beauty of the local landscapes, especially the color and scale of the desert flora. I enjoy the specific challenges that is offers as subject matter. I employ found objects, simple fabrics, photography and a bit of chaos in my creations. I hope to someday be able to convey the sense of quiet transcendence that I find in my relationship with the land.
