Youth Intro to Ceramics – Ages 7 to 15 -Tuesdays

@ 3:30pm – 5:00pm $150 per 4-week session. Includes all materials and firing costs. Session 1: September 3, 10, 17 & 24 Session 2: October 1, 8, 15 & 22 Session 3: October 29, November 5, 12 & 19 Session 4: November 26, December 3, 10 & 17 Intro to Ceramics is an introductory handbuilding class in which you learn all about techniques and tools. Students will be creating, by hand, functional ceramic pieces from start to finish with the guidance of an instructor. Learning to build with tools in the studio other than the wheel is key to understanding the art of clay. Students will get to explore the various capabilities of the slab roller, extruder, and numerous hand tools, all of which provide an excellent foundation for other ceramic disciplines. Class size is limited to 8.                        Instructor: Colby Cramer Cancellations must be done at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of class in order to receive a full refund. FREE Youth Digital Character Creation – Ages 12 to 18 – Tuesdays

Through a combination of theory and hands-on practice, aspiring artists will learn how to bring their original characters to life. The course covers the entire creative process, from initial concept sketches to final print-ready artwork. By the end of this course, students will have a portfolio piece of original character artwork ready for publication. Whether they aspire to create comic book heroes, fantasy creatures, sci-fi protagonists, or the next animated hit, this course introduces students to the skills needed to succeed in the competitive world of professional illustration.
