October 23rd $150.00 (includes all materials) Classic first project for those curious about glassblowing techniques. This workshop requires no previous experience. Students will pick out colors and create their own glass vessel using traditional techniques under the instruction of Jason and Nicole McQuaid who have over 35 years of experience in glassblowing. @ 10:00am – 12:00pm $75.00 (includes all materials). This class is on October 29th. Acrylic Pour is a fluid painting technique using acrylic paint to create marvelous works of art! This technique is very approachable for beginners, and yet allows one the opportunity to get as creative and complex as you desire. Students will be working on wood canvases with a gloss finish. Each student will make 2 acrylic pours, one small wood canvas for practice and a larger wood canvas to perfect your technique. Due to drying time, student work will be available for pickup on the Saturday following the workshop.
