Painting for me is a wonderful journey, an opportunity to be immersed in the subtle beauty of nature. Whatever the subject matter, the elements of shape, color, texture and edges are the musical voice of painting. For me, painting is balancing thinking and feeling, discovering what is true by trusting in one’s own intuition and inspiration. My intent is to reflect the absorption of my natural surrounding in both a deliberate and intuitive way, let them emerge on canvas.
