Aspiring Artists

Calling all high-school-aged aspiring artists!

Embark on a creative journey with the Aspiring Artist Program! Exclusive to high school students in the Coachella Valley, this unique opportunity is designed to ignite your passion for the arts through professional insights and hands-on experiences in visual arts education. Participants will elevate their artistic skills and showcase their work in a collaborative group exhibition. Presented by Old Town Artisan Studios (OTAS), the program equips aspiring artists with the knowledge and tools to pursue further education and careers in the fine arts. As a non-district-sponsored event, this initiative reflects OTAS’s commitment to providing enriching art experiences for all, regardless of age, financial circumstances, or abilities.

Best of all, there is no fee for high school artists to participate.

Applications Begin – Friday, September 13th, 2024

Deadline to Submit (EXTENDED) – Friday, December 6th, 2024

Acceptance Notifications – Friday, January 3rd, 2025

Lelland Gallery is open to the public Monday – Saturday from 10:00 am – 5:00pm.
