Tuesday 10:00am – 12:00pm $75.00 (includes all materials). This class is on January 16 Acrylic Pour is a fluid painting technique using acrylic paint to create marvelous works of art! This technique is very approachable for beginners, and yet allows one the opportunity to get as creative and complex as you desire. Students will be working on wood canvases with a gloss finish. Each student will make 2 acrylic pours, one small wood canvas for practice and a larger wood canvas to perfect your technique. Due to drying time, student work will be available for pickup on the Saturday following the workshop. Step by step, you will learn how to transform clay into the cutest heart shaped vase. Each participant will make one double sided vase. After it is bisque fired, the instructor can glaze it one color of your choice OR you can come back and glaze it with our vibrant underglazes in the Paint Your Own Pottery studio.
